Ohsaki Research Institute, Inc. has been conducting R & D and consulting business since 1982. We provide services as a mathematical analysis  'Think Tank'  for solving social and customer's issues. Our areas of expertise are earthquake motion analysis, seismic analysis, fluid analysis, special structural analysis and so on, related to construction and engineering.

There have been remarkable developments in these fields. On the other hand, changes in the natural environment have been mercilessly forcing new problems to our society one after another. If global warming worsens the seismic activity might cause disasters of unimaginable magnitude. In order to create a sustainable and prosperous society under such a harsh situation, we have to rely on our intelligence.

Looking ahead to the future, it is important that we are aware of social issues and social needs presented in the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We would like to contribute our utmost to mitigate global and meteorological disasters and to achieve SDGs.

There are two important principles we keep in our minds:

First is based on the words of late Prof. Yorihiko Ohsaki. When he established ORI, he said: " With the aspiration to improve technology implemented in the society, we will research new methods, discover new truths, create new technologies useful to the society, and contribute to the sustainable development of the society." This concept is our basis and it would never fade even if the society changes.

The other is to strengthen our function as a hub of knowledge among researchers and engineers. In order to challenge issues that are difficult to solve with limited internal resources, we aim to provide a meeting place for various stakeholders and to contribute to social advancement by the power of collaboration.

Our mission is to serve the society and our customers continuously.
